ARTSOURCE maintains an inventory of over 3,000 works of original art at our Raleigh, North Carolina fine art gallery including works on canvas (oils and acrylics); works on paper (watercolors, pastels, mixed media, collage); sculpture (pedestal scale, large scale, mobiles); and prints (lithographs, limited editions, posters). We custom frame the fine art we sell (as well as our customers' own treasured pieces) and are available to deliver and install it for you.
OUR TEAM:
Nancy C. McClure was born in Albany, NY, attended Syracuse University and graduated with a BS in Merchandising with an emphasis in marketing and visual arts. Before joining ArtSource, McClure worked for Picture House in Atlanta, GA, providing high-end framing design services to interior designers. McClure later worked as manager of the art and matting department of Phoenix Galleries in Atlanta, one of the largest wholesale picture manufacturing companies in the country. After relocating to Raleigh in 1985, McClure worked at Frameworks as a corporate art consultant. McClure joined ArtSource in 1990. Nancy is also one of the many local artists ArtSource represents. Sharon P. Tharrington was born in Raleigh, NC, attended Emory University and graduated with BA degrees in both Art History and Psychology. While in College, Tharrington worked at Fay Gold Gallery in Atlanta, GA. Upon completion of her degree, she returned to Raleigh and began working with Gilliam & Peden Fine Art Gallery, where she received her training in marketing and handling fine art and fine art framing. Gigi Johnson, a native of Raleigh, self-taught artist and art enthusiast, joined ArtSource in July of 2005 as a Corporate Art Consultant. Gigi brings years of sales and fund-raising expertise to the area of art selection and placement for the corporate client including sales experience with the nation's largest full-service representative of commissioned portrait artists for private, corporate, and government clients. Kate Phillips, Corporate Sales & Gallery Manager, graduated from Meredith College in 2003 with a BA in Studio Art and a BA in Psychology. Originally from Winston Salem, Kate joined the ArtSource team in June of 2006. Phillips assists clients in the purchase of artwork, and maintains gallery inventory. Sarah Heinsohn, Gallery Assistant, graduated from N.C. State University with a B.A. in Arts Applications and Philosophy. Sarah is available to speak with all current and prospective artists about any gallery questions. Ryan Slagle, Gallery Assistant, graduated from N.C. State University with a B.A. in Arts Applications and a Minor in History. Ryan has a special interest in the performing arts and has a history of mixing live music performances and the creation of visual works. Ryan handles all marketing and Press Releases for the gallery as well as assisting clients with renting ArtSource for their private parties, corporate functions and fundraising events. Suzanne Gasperini, Intern, is a senior at Meredith College, Suzanne is studying studio art with a focus on 3D Design.
Michelle Draughon, Framer, attended the University of Greensboro and Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah
